Stanhope-Seta – Innovation & Flexibility
Despite the range of Stanford Seta instruments, the company only holds patents on around 20. Its CEO, Giles Verity, says this is because of the expense of taking out a patent. They aim to launch at least 3 new products every year, and their ideas come from listening to their customers. Mr Verity and his brother also serve on many committees such as BSI and ISO which allows them to keep abreast of, and influence, changing industrial regulations and standards. These changes have a direct impact on company sales. In order to meet demand, the company has a flexible business model, outsourcing locally and then assembling the final product in-house.
Finding a Stanhope-Seta Distributor
Despite its global presence and offices in Russia and Kuala Lumpur, the firm arranges its sales through local distributors. In this way, they avoid credit control issues and handling different regulations in each country. To find a local distributor, customers can complete an online form on their website and they will be sent their contact details.
With a steady annual growth of 3-5%, Stanhope Seta is a company to watch in the future.
